History test 1.2. is about French Revolution and the influence of ideas derived from political liberalism. These are the key ideas in this unit:

• Situation in France just before the Revolution (complaining about prices, about government and King's spending). Diagram with the causes of the French Revolution on page 23.
• The Estates General: what for?, composition, disagreement about the voting system...
• First steps towards Revolution: Tennis Court Oath.
• The symbol of the ordinary people fight against opression? The storming of the Bastille (page 26).
• Declaration of the Rights of Man and of Citizen (page 28).
